Horses

Here's my Paint mare, Sweetie Pie, babysitting her nephew, Indie,
who's now a month old!

Indie hiding behind his Mama, Cricket.

Come on, Mama! Let's play!

Indie sleeps a lot, and his mama, Cricket stands guard while he does. She's starting to let the other horses take shifts, too.

Rebel is now a yearling.

Hope is a half-Paint, half-Trakaner. She's a yearling.

Jazz is my Arabian gelding.

My daughter, Tess, riding her solid paint mare, Tabitha, aka Sweet Rockin Nation.

Dogs

Galaxy, one of our two black labs. He's the more serious one.

Warf, our other black lab, isn't very serious at all.

Pudding is a mutt, and she's getting old. She likes to nap and roll in the grass. Isn't she cute?

Myrna, our papillon, is the photogenic one. She also loves to play with the toads in Texas.
Cats

This is Shadow. Note how his eyes seem to reflect the green world he's in.

Here's Whiskers. We call her the mighty sock hunter since she's always "catching" socks.
Look for our other cats on different parts of my website or watch
for a cute snapshot here!

Goats

Ojo, the Terrible (according to my oldest son), is the black and white buck on the left. Neive is on the right. Nathan's renamed her Snowball the Smasher. She's the herd queen.
Rosie the Riveter is the goat in the middle. She was kicked by either Cricket of Indie and is now dehorned. She's still cute.

Here are Neive (top), Ojo (middle), and Rosie (bottom) fainting. That's what our goats are known for. They faint when they get scared. They're called Myotonic of Fainting Goats and they're a heritage breed.

Here is the house Nathan built for our goats out of Austin stone. They love it!
